This time it is a very natural look that I am going for. Well, I don't wear makeup on daily basis and I am sure no one does. But there are times when you want to put in some effort to look good but still don't want to look like you have put makeup on. Then this look is something you can totally wear. This would make your skin look naturally very healthy, flawless and GLOWY.
Also, I have been loving glowy makeup a lot lately. Although, I am an oily skinned girl but I have fallen in love with this kind of glowy makeup. After all this season is all about highlighting!

It has been really windy here and it rained a little yesterday. Hopefully monsoon will arrive soon.
So, I did this quick and easy makeup look which would make you look really fresh. This is apt to wear during the day if you have any important event to attend but don't want to go with a face full of makeup. I am sure everyone out there can achieve this look since I have kept it very simple and practical.

Merry Christmas!! I hope all of you are enjoying the holidays and the winters. My family is here with me nowadays, hence I did not post much in the last few days. It has been a really long time since I did a LOTD. So, here I go with my christmas-y look. Enjoy the pics and don't forget to comment below. :)
1. Start off with a clean moisturized face. I first primed my lids using the Garnier tinted roll on. I applied it all over the lids, taking it out upto the brow bone.
2. Taking a matt brown eyeshadow, I applied it all over the crease, diffusing it outwards. Make sure this brown shade is just a shade or 2 darker than your skin tone.
3. Take another matt brown color. This time 2-3 shades darker than the first one and using a pencil brush apply in it the outer 1/3rd of the lids, creating an outer V. Now blend this color out. Make sure just to blend out the edges and don't take this color too far.
4. Taking another matt brown eyeshadow (darker than the 2nd one) create one more V in the outer 1/3rd area of the lid. Keep this V even more concentrated and it should be smaller than the last V that we created. Blend it out lightly without taking the color too far.
5. Next take a matt black shadow and apply it in the extreme outer part of the eye lid. Again create a V and blend out the edges. Make sure to use a pencil brush for applying the black shadow and go easy with it as we don't want to go very dark. Blend it out for a softer look.
6. We used so many browns, just to add dimensions to the whole look. Using just one color would have made the whole look very flat. Since I am using silver on the eyes (which is a cold color), I decided to add some warmth using a red shade. So, I took a matte red color and lightly swirled a fluffy blending brush over it. Then I swept it over the crease area very light handedly.
The key is to go very very easy with this red shade, else you may end up looking sick.
7. Using shimmery silver eyeshadow, I applied it on the center of the lids. Layer the color as per your desired intensity. Then use a light brown eyeshadow to blend out the colors again.
8. Using the same 3 brown shades that I used on the eyelids, I used them on my lower lash line. Applied them all along the lash line, leaving out just the inner corner. Apply the same silver color below your brow bone.
9. Then I used Lakme Eyeconic Kajal on my upper lashline and smudged it using a matt brown eyeshadow and winged out the liner into the black V that I had created.
11. Finally I applied Ponds BB cream and set it with Makeup Revolution translucent powder.
10. Concealed my under eyes using Makeup Revolution concealer palette and set it with powder.
11. Finally I lightly contoured my cheeks using a matt brown eyeshadow from the Makeup Revolution Make Believe palette and applied Oriflame VeryMe bronzer on the cheeks.
12. I finished off with a red lipstick(Fire Desire) from Coloressence.
Happy Navratri to all of you. May Goddess Durga shower you with love and her blessings. No, today I am not doing a traditional look. Instead I had been itching to do a blue smokey eye for a long time but never actually got down to putting up a post. So, finally I went ahead with it. Follow the steps below to achieve the final look.
1. Start off with a clean and moisturized face.
2. Prime your eye lids as well as the brow area. I used Garnier tinted roll on.
3. Next, I took Lorea’l Infalliable eyeshadow in 006 All Night Blue and applied it all over my eye lids. It is a beautiful dark blue color with lots of blue and some silver specks of glitter. Do not go beyond your crease. Once you are done with patting the color on your lids, use a clean blending brush to blend out the edges into the crease area. Working with a dark smokey eye can be very tricky. You don’t want to go overboard with the dark colors that you end up looking gothic or you don’t even want to end up too light that it doesn’t really look like a smokey makeup.
4. Repeat the 3rd step 2-3 times till you get the desired intensity of color.
5. If needed use dark brown and even black eye shadow to smoke out the color on to the outer crease area. I used both these colors since I was not happy using just the blue shade.
6. Tightline your upper and lower lash line and smudge them for a softer look. I used Lakme Eyeconic Kohl in Black. Smudge the lower lashline using the same blue shade used on your lids.

Holla Peeps!! I am back with a makeup tutorial again. And this time it is an ethnic look!! Since, it is the festive time of the year I thought of creating a look that can be teamed up with Indian wear. I chose to go with bronze because: a) I have never actually worn a full fledged bronze-y eyeshadow as I always thought that it makes me look sick and b) it suits the occasion perfectly. So, here we go:
1. As usual, start off with a clean and moisturized face.
2. I forgot to prime my eyes this time, but you should always do that. Especially when you don’t have the time for touch ups on those days when you are either busy attending guests or packing gifts!
3. Take a bronze eye shadow and apply it all over the eye lid. I used the bronze color form Lakme Desert rose quartet. Don’t take the color above the crease. Now take a clean blending brush and blend out the edges into the crease area for softer and smokey effect.
4. Next, I took a dark brown eye shadow and applied it in my crease area, focussing more on the outer crease.
5. Take a light brown-orange shade and diffuse the brown and bronze eyeshadows further up into the crease.
6. Take a matt black eye shadow on a pencil brush and create an outer V on the lid and blend it out with a clean blending brush. Make sure to use the black color with light hands and try to stay on the outer area only.
7. Line your upper and lower lash line with kohl and smudge it for a softer look.
8. Apply mascara. I used Maybelline Hyper curl.
9. Take a shimmery eye shadow and highlight your brow bone.
10. Fill your brows and shape them.
11. Don’t forget to conceal your under eyes. I used Garnier tinted roll on
12. Next, I applied the Lakme mousse foundation and used a bronzer to apply on the hollow of my cheeks.
13. Then I took the brown shade from the Lakme Desert rose quartet and used it as a blusher.
14. Finish off the look with a red put. Since the highlight of my look was the so I kept my lip color and the rest of the face pretty subtle.

Hello Lovely ladies! I am back with yet another makeup tutorial. I was in a mood for something bright, something which screams summers, so I ended up with this look. I prefer wearing this in day time when I am out with my girl gang. This is a very easy, very quick and a fresh summery makeup. I hope you guys will like it.
So, here we go-
1. As usual, start off with clean and moisturized face/eyes.
2. Next I primed my eye lids using Garnier tinted roll-on.
3. Then, I took a matt brown eye shadow and applied a wash of this color all over my lids. Apply with very light hands as you don’t need the color to be intense. Try to choose a color closest to you natural eye lid color.
4. Next I applied a matt dark brown eye shadow in the crease area. And blended in nicely.
5. Then I took a vibrant green color which has lots of gold reflexes and using a wet pointed brush, applied the color as an eye liner on my upper lash line. I used a wet brush for this so as to really intensify the color.
6. Next I took a bronzy-gold eye shadow and applied it on my lower lash line.
7. Now, tightline your upper lash line and apply black kohl very thinly on your lower lash line. Remember to create a very thin line of kohl/kajal on the lower lash line since we want the eye shadow on our lower lashes to be visible and don’t want the black kajal to take away all the attention. I used Lakme Eyekonic Kohl in black.
9. Next, I applied a bright fuschia lipstick on the outer corners of my lips and pressed the lips together to blend it well. I used Coloressence 40 Fuschia Glam.
10. Then take a coral or orange lipstick and apply it on the inner area of your lips. I used Lotus Herbals Carnation. Again press your lips together to get the both the colors blended. Using these 2 shades would give you an ombre effect, which will still not be in-your-face.
11. Conceal your under eyes and apply your favourite foundation. I used Garnier tinted roll on and Lakme Absolute Mousse foundation.
12. Take a matt bronzing powder and apply to the hollow of your cheeks, on your forehead and the jaw line.
13. I applied a very natural brown, almost nu*e blusher on the cheeks and highlighted my cheek bones with a silvery eye shadow.
14. Finish off with a big smile and you are ready to rock the day.
