Review: MTV MUAH POP LG-05
Price: Rs. 139/- for 6ml
Packaging:
This is a nu*e-ish pale pink color which has slight mauve undertones. The color is very sheer and you have to apply at least 3 coats to get some color on your lips. Although I am a bright lipstick girl but there are days when I want to go for a natural/no makeup look, or when I am going for smoke-y eyes then I prefer these kind of colors. This is even apt for daily wear or office wear and for layering over other lipsticks. I mostly use it either on its own or on top of a long staying lipstick which has a similar shade.
I found this one to be less sticky than the MTV MUAH by Blue Heaven (LC-06). Also, since this is a pretty light color it does not really stay that long. In fact the staying power is really bad. It stays on for only about an hour and after that it disappears completely without leaving any kind of tint.
If you are someone who has highly pigmented lips this would not help you at all.
Final verdict: If you are looking for a budget pink-ish, nu*e-ish lipgloss where you don’t mind re-applying then you can go for it, otherwise you can totally skip this.

MTV MUAH by Blue Heaven (LC-06) Swatches & Review
Some time back MTV launched their makeup collection in collaboration with Blue Heaven. It is called MTV MUAH. We all remember our moms using that blue heaven kajal or a blue heaven lipstick, right? But fast forward to today and no one uses even a single product from them. Sad!! But I could not see them anywhere all this time. May be they stopped making products for a while, er.. whatever.
I had seen their makeup counter in a mall nearby but never actually felt like trying them and then finally when I thought of buying some stuff from them, the counter was gone. Poof!! I guess the sales were not good enough. LOL! So, I saw these lip glosses online and immediately bought them.
Price: Rs. 139/- for 6ml. So inexpensive. Yay!
There are 2 categories of lip glosses: lip colors and lip gloss, numbered as LC and LG respectively. They have a lot of colors to choose from ranging from everyday nudes to bright , dark and even some weird colors. What I don’t like is that they have given numbers to the shades instead of naming them.
Packaging: I absolutely love the packaging. The bottles come packed in cardboard boxes which have bright artistic designs over them. It is a fun and attractive packaging. The actual product comes in cuboid shaped glass bottle with a screw-open matte black cap along with a doe-foot applicator which picks up just the right amount of product. Nothing fancy but I like this no nonsense, fuss free packaging. Also, the matte black color and the shape of the tube give it a very classy look. The brand name is embossed in silver color on the bottle. Each shade is mentioned at the bottom of the tube which makes it easy to locate the color you are looking for.
Fragrance: These lip glosses have a mild fragrance which goes away after few minutes of application. It smells like roses. It is a nice and a subtle fragrance which would not bother even the ones with sensitive nose.
Texture: The texture of these lip glosses is thick and they feel pretty sticky when applied. The stickiness stays even hours after the application. If you press your lips you will find them sticking to each other. I don’t really find the stickiness bothersome but if you are someone who doesn’t like that sticky feeling, totally skip it. When I swatched them on my hands I could see very minute silver particles/glitter but these are not at all visible on lips. Also, the color transfers pretty easily which is a BIG con.
Application: The best way to apply these is to spread the gloss using the doe foot applicator and then massage your lips using your fingers. This will ensure even application. I noticed that if I did not use my fingers and just used the doe-foot applicator the finish was patchy and streaky.
I bought three shades- a bright neon-ish coral (LC-06), a very natural nude-ish mauve-ish pink (LG-05) and a deep brown based red (LC-02) which is appropriate for fall.
Today I will talk about the shade LC-06. It is a beautiful bright coral shade which is almost neon-ish. I love how it instantly brightens up my face. In pictures it has turned out to be more orange-y and less coral-y. This shade would suit fair to medium skin tones more. However, the dusky beauties can also make it work for them if they use it sparingly. The wear time of LC-06 is pretty good and it stays on for around 4-5 hours on my lips, without eating. Also, it does not completely vanish from the lips but leaves behind a nice tint. At the end of the day I have to remove it with a cleanser. With eating, the moment you would eat something it would fade away considerably. However, they are able to survive snacks.
First 3 photos are pretty close to how this color looks in person. The last 2 photos have come out to be more orange-y
Final Verdict: Overall, I am very happy with this gloss. It is such a pretty color and so affordable. Also, the lasting power is good. What else would you get at this price? You should go and buy at least one shade. I would surely recommend them.

Review: Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms-Unapologetic
This is the first lip crayon that I have tried. Yes, I have not used any other lip crayon. Nil Zilch Nada. Because I already own so many other lipsticks that I can’t buy any new color. I can never ever buy anything new until and unless I finish the ones that I already own. This particular product is also something that I didn’t buy but won it in Cynthia’s IVC giveaway. A big shout out to her amazing blog!
Packaging: These crayons come in twist up packaging with a silver twister at the end. You twist this silver part and the crayon comes up. Every crayon is of the same color as the shade itself and has the shade name written at the bottom of the crayon. The brand and product name is inscribed in silver color on the crayon body. These come with a cap. You twist back the crayon and put a cap on it thus protecting the crayon tip from getting damaged. The cap is also of the same exact color as the shade itself. I like the packaging as it is convenient to use and identify the shade and is also easy to carry around in your purse.
Price: You get 2.7gm of product for Rs. 800. The quantity is pretty good but they should definitely work on pricing. It will last you long time even if used daily. I love the minty fragrance that it has and find it quite cooling and refreshing. I find the smell exactly similar to that of Polo (mints). It goes away in few minutes though.
Shade: Unapologetic is neon pink, almost fuchsia shade, but less purple and more pink. I absolutely love this color. It instantly brightens up my complexion. It would suit beauties with lighter to medium complexion and in my opinion it would wash out those with darker complexion. Although, I think everyone can wear it as a light tint.
Texture and Staying Power: These crayons go quite opaque in a single swipe while 2-3 swipes will give you complete intensity. Since these are matte balms hence these are drying in nature. If you have dry and chapped lips these will definitely emphasize those and settle into the lines. Even if you have healthy lips I would suggest you to nicely prep and moisturize them before applying these mate balms as these feel quite dry on lips. Also, the best way to apply this is to apply a layer and then spread it nicely on you lips using you fingers. Applying it in this way ensues even application. After few hours of application my lips start feeling a little dry and uncomfortable. But since these are matte in nature so you should expect the dryness to come along.
I love its staying power. I had applied it for a function where it lasted on me for around 7-8 hours with meals and snacks after which I washed it off. It looked fresh for 5 hours after which it started to fade but still left behind a nice tint at the end of the day.
Final Verdict: Everyone should own at least one of these matte balms for the amazing quality and staying power.

Coloressence Lipstick-Fire Desire
Heya !!
I am back with yet another review of a lipstick. I had told you guys that I love bold/bright colors. So, this time I will be reviewing a color which is essential in any girl's lipstick collection-RED
Every girl needs to have a red lipstick. It's an old classic and works for every girl with any skin tone. Personally, for me any kind red works--with yellow/orange undertone or with blue undertones.
Today I will Review Coloressence's Fire Desire. I have 5 lipsticks from Coloressence and I like all of them. This is no exception.
Packaging:The packaging isn't fancy at all. It comes in a regular lipstick twist-up tube with a black colored plastic cap. The bottom part of the tube transparent and has the shade name on it. Also, the transparent bottom makes it easy to identify the lipstick.
Price: I don't remember the price since I bought them in a pack of 5 from a shopping website, but I think they cost RS.150
Color: It is a true red which has some blue undertones and would suit everyone. You can always play around with this color- either wear it with full intensity for a more bold/glamorous look or wear it as a stain for a more natural look.
Texture: These are semi-matte lipsticks-neither too creamy (like Maybelline color sensational ones) nor too dry (like Colorbar Velvette range). I find the texture just perfect. It glides on your prepped lips smoothly and doesn't settle in the fine lines.
Staying power: The staying power of these are quite good and they last on me for about 6 hours(without meals) and leave behind a slight tint. These never disappeared completely. With meals they last for about 3-4 hours which I think is pretty good. One problem with these are that they transfer a bit.
Final Verdict: If you are looking for some good every day lipsticks with good staying power, you can give them a shot.

Cameleon Color Stay 2 in 1 Liquid Lipstick-353
Phew!!! That's quite a mouthful. Today I will be reviewing one of my favorite lipstick from Cameleon. I have previously reviewed another shade from the same range. You can check it here.
As the name suggests it is a liquid lipstick. I would rather call it a lip cream. It is on the lines of NYX lip creams.
Well I am a bright lipstick girl. I have a pale complexion and light colors don't really work for me. This shade is also for those who love bright colors.
Shade: 353
Net weight: 4.5g + 4.5g
Price: Rs. 200
Instructions: After applying the color, leave for 2 minutes & then apply the shining gloss.
Color: It's a beautiful neon fuschia pink shade. It's a cool toned/blue based color which will work very well for medium to fair skin tones. It is quite bold color and brings a glow to your face. If you don't want to wear it with full intensity, you can always use it as a lipstain.
with gloss without glossTexture: It is creamy & thick and is highly pigmented. When applied on lips it feels quite sticky. Don't forget to follow up with the gloss provided with it, once the lipstick dries. The gloss seals the lipstick and it doesn't even transfer or bleed.
Usage: The best way to use it is to dab some product from the applicator on to your lips and then spread it with the help of your fingers, as if you are massaging your lips. Yes this is the perfect way to use this or else you might end up using more than required which will only give you uneven color and a bad staying power. Make sure you have scrubbed your lips and have applied lip balm before applying this lipstick.
Staying power: This is something that really makes me go back to this product time and again. It literally stays on my lips the whole day, without eating. I have to remove it with a makeup remover/oil/cleansing milk. With eating it still stays on for around 5-6 hours which I think is much better than any of the other lipsticks I have tried. It leaves a slight stain behind.
Final Verdict: If you are looking for some budget friendly good quality lipsticks with excellent staying power-this is THE PRODUCT for you. I mean c'mon every girl needs to have them. I will be buying several other shades for sure.

Maybelline Colorsensational Moisture Extreme Lipstick- Bronze Orange
So after looking at hundreds of lip swatches online I desperately wanted to buy Maybelline "My mahogany" or Maybelline "coral pink". I finally made a list of all the cosmetics I wanted to buy and went to the store. (I was soooo excited!!!) I asked the SA to show me the 2 lipsticks that I wanted to buy, but "coral pink" was out of stock. As soon as I saw "My mahogany" I was sooooper happy. But all the happiness vanished and my smile turned into a frown when I tried the lipstick. It did not show up at all on my pigmented lips [read pink :)]. duh!! I was soo upset.
But since I was determined to buy my FIRST lipstick I decided to continue my search.
Finally I found a beautiful shade which was exactly what I was looking for. The frown again changed into a big & a wide smile :D
The shade is just sooo PERFECT for my pigmented (read pink) lips. I can wear it as mlbb with a single swipe & can build it up to an orangy/brownish/n*de shade. I love it!!! I am also surprised that nobody in the blogo-sphere has ever raved about this shade. It's a wonderfully perfect color especially for all the beauties with pigmented lips.
Shade: Bronze Orange (CB42)
Color & Pigmentation: It shows up as a n*de orang-ish shade on my lips. It's well pigmented.
It can be worn as a MLBB with a single swipe & can be built up with 2-3 swipes into a n*de-orangy shade.
Texture: It has a creamy & soft texture with a glossy finish. I love to reapply it. Neither does it dry out my lips nor does it settle into the fine lines.
Staying Power: It stays for 3-4 hours on me (without food) and fades away leaving a slight tint behind.
Final Verdict: This is a great product, especially for the girls with pigmented lips.I think it will suit people with fair to wheatish skin tone & might not look good on dark beauties. I will definitely be repurchasing this particular shade. It has become my HG shade now & will also love to try out other shades from this range.
Take a look how it looks on me:

Cameleon Color Stay 2 in 1 liquid lipstick
Product code: 343
Net weight: 4.5g + 4.5g
Price: Rs.190
Instructions: After applying the color, leave for 2 minutes & then apply the shining gloss.
Color: It's a perfect deep red. It's dries out to be matte with no shimmers at all. (I like my lipsticks/glosses minus any shimmer)
Texture: It is creamy & quite thick which dries out super fast. When I say super fast I literally mean it. Once dried it is not easy to remove it just by swiping or by plain water.
My Take: I really like the color- it's a beautiful matte deep red. It adds a glow to your face. Every time I wear this I get complements :) .I love the fact that it does not contain any shimmer. When topped with the transparent gloss it looks super pretty.
The color stays on me for good 6-7 hours with minimal fading(when I wear it to office I need not reapply it as it stays the whole day). You just need to re-apply the transparent gloss. It's quite drying since it's a matte lipcolor+long lasting one but I don't mind that because I always wear my lipbalm under this.
I like to wear it as a tint (just dab a dot or 2 over my lips and use my washed fingers to spread it evenly) rather than slathering it over my lips. It works better this way.
When I wear a thick layer of it, the color comes out to be a b'ful red and when I wear it as a lipstain it looks pink!! I love this lipstick.
Swatches:
Pros:
1) Beautiful color
2) Long lasting
3) No shimmers
4) Reasonably Priced
5) Great quantity
6) Comes with a gloss
Cons:
1) Drying for the lips
2) Dries superfast and can't be removed easily which can be a problem sometimes.
2) It fades unevenly when you wear a heavy layer of it.
3) No ingredient list
4) Availability might be a problem
All in all it's a great value for money for those people who don't want shimmers in their lipcolors and need a long lasting one.
